Ariel is the second daughter of Jim and Ferno Tweto; she grew up in Unalakleet, and before joining her parent’s airline company, Ariel traveled throughout the States. In 2001 she took her first position in the company, helping her mother to run the station in Unalakleet. Before the family became the subject of the Discovery Channel new reality TV series, Ariel appeared in another reality TV series – “Wipeout” – appearing in the second and third seasons. In her first appearance she ended in third-place, while in the third season, she was just behind the winner of the season. Regardless, these appearances also contributed to her wealth, and also brought attention to her, since in of the episodes Ariel stated that she had never had a boyfriend and also that she had never been kissed.
Once the family were cast in “Flying Wild Alaska” (2011-2012), Ariel joined the show, featured as a member of the ground crew based in Unalakleet, but as the show progressed, Ariel started taking flying lessons, and so her instructor, Chelsea Abingdon Welch also became a part of the show. Ariel finally took the test, and officially became a certified pilot on the 21st April 2012. Unfortunately, the show ended that year, since her father chose to retire and pass on the management of Era Alaska to others.
Nevertheless, Ariel continued her career in the entertainment world, but also started off her flying career. She was the host of the Sundance Institute’s Native Shorts in 2013, while in 2014 she was the host of the Miss Alaska USA pageant. Ariel was a part of the documentary “Flying Again” (2017), and is now working on the series “Covering Alaska”, set for release in late 2017, which should also increase her wealth.
Regarding her personal life, aside from her career endeavors, Ariel tends to keep hidden all other aspects of her life, and so far has done a great job, since no further reliable information is available about her to the media.
