Chris D'Elia Sexual Misconduct Accusations Cancels His Netflix Upcoming Show
American comedian, Chris D'Elia will not be doing the supposed prank comedy show alongside his longtime friend and fellow comedian Bryan Callen. Netflix pulled out the deal with the 40-year-old comedian after the accusations of D'Elia's 'sexually inappropriate' behavior towards young women came over the media.
Back in June 2020, talent management firms Creative Artists Agency, William Morris Endeavor, and 3 Arts Entertainment terminated their deal with Chris D'Elia. Also, he has not published any new episodes of his podcast "Congratulations With Chris D'Elia" since the accusations came out.
Chris D'Elia's case came to light after a woman named Simone Rossi came forth with allegations of sexual misconduct back in June 2020. Rossi shared the screenshots of emails exchanged with the comedian that reportedly happened in June 2014 and January 2015. As per Rossi, D'Elia asked the photos of her and made comments to hang out and 'make out.'
Rossi's allegations were just openings to several other accusations. The other two alleged victims came out their respective accusations stating that they were underage when D'Elia made the explicit comments on them on Twitter. One of the accusers mentioned that the comedian agreed to meet her under one condition that she had to perform oral sex on his friend.
Several accusations came forward, which cited that he exposed his penis to women.
But Chris D'Elia denied the accusations in June 2020 and said that he did not knowingly pursue underage girls. Talking to TMZ, he said:
"I know I have said and done things that might have offended people during my career, but I have never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point." Chris goes on to say, "All of my relationships have been both legal and consensual and I have never met or exchanged any inappropriate photos with the people who have tweeted about me."
He further mentioned that all his relationships were consensual, and he has not shared any inappropriate photos with the people who have tweeted about him.
