Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cell locations
Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cells are hidden collectible items that unlock Power Cell armor: the Shield-Weaver outfit. Our Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cells locations guide shows you the Power Cells in Maker’s End, Grave-Hoard, Gaia Prime, Mother’s Watch, and All-Mother Mountain, completing the “Ancient Armory” side quest.
In this Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cells location guide, we’ll show you where to find all five Power Cell locations.
Table of contents
Power cells won’t show up on your map, and Horizon Zero Dawn is pretty tight-lipped about telling you where they are.
If you were lucky or very thorough in your first playthrough of the bunker locations, you may have already found some of the Power Cells. If you missed any, you can always just revisit the bunkers and pick them up. Power Cells are marked with a green resource icon.
Maker’s End Power Cell location
At the top of the Faro building, look to the east of the table where you watched Ted and Elisabet’s conversations. There’s a way to climb up to the very, very top of the building where you’ll find the Maker’s End Power Cell waiting for you.
Grave-Hoard Power Cell location
The path you take through the Grave Hoard during the main storyline quest of the same name will take you right past the Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cell. It’s just after you unlock the door with the three sets of locks.
Gaia Prime Power Cell location
After you finish exploring the GAIA Prime ruins and you’re returning to Sylens’ workshop, there’s a Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cell in a room that tunnels into the mountain.
Mother’s Watch Power Cell location
Inside the bunker that Aloy fell into as a child, look near the exit for a wall of stalactites and stalagmites. Destroy the wall with your spear to find the Mother’s Watch Power Cell.
All-Mother Mountain Power Cell location
There’s a Power Cell in one of the Nora rooms inside All-Mother Mountain — not inside the facility, but behind the closed door. Go down the hall to the right of the door, and take the first left. Look for an air duct to crawl through. It’s a little hard to find, so consult the map above.
