The Russians, theyre on us Joe Rogan hilariously makes up for technical difficulties at
Joe Rogan channeled his inner standup comedian for the ceremonial face-offs at UFC 282. The UFC commentator found his microphone being cut off in the middle of his interview with Jan Blachowicz and prompted a hilarious line to make up for the technical difficulty.
UFC 282 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend. The final pay-per-view event of the year 2022 will end with Polish fighter Jan Blachowicz and Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev fighting for the vacant light heavyweight title in the main event. Earlier today, the ceremonial weigh-ins and face-offs took place in front of the fans and the media members in Las Vegas.
Joe Rogan, the UFC commentator was hosting this event and while interviewing the Polish fighter, his microphone happened to shut off. Rogan who wanted to ask Jan Blachowicz about Magomed Anakalaev noticed that his mic went mute as he said the Russian’s name. Rogan immediately quipped saying, “The Russians, they’re on us,” making Blachowicz crack a smile. This clip will definitely be added to the best moments of Rogan in a UFC event.
This weekend’s pay-per-view event, despite the loss of the Jiri Prochazka vs Glover Teixeira title fight, has still shaped up to be an amazing card with the light heavyweight matchup between Blachowicz and Ankalaev, the amazing co-main event between Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gorden, the electric lightweight matchup between Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria, and the return of Darren Till against a dangerous Dricus Du Plessis.
— Heavyweight Thanos (@MMAThanos) December 10, 2022The amazing trio returns for the final pay-per-view event of the year. UFC 282 will have Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik calling the fight on the mic from cageside at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The commentary will be led by Jon Anik who is a veteran, alongside UFC Hall-of-Famer Daniel Cormier and Joe Rogan chiming their analysis and calling the fight.
Rogan is not a regular on the commentary team as he does only 10 major PPV events in a year. When he is not calling fights, Rogan is busy working on his standup comedy career and also talking to guests on his podcasts. Rogan also does not travel around the world and calls only events that take place in the United States of America.
